Welcome to IPE Course Adapter Toolkit!
Some faculty find a helpful way to start with interprofessional education is to “convert” an existing course into an interprofessional course or experience.
Our IPE Toolkit is a place to find information about IPE courses at U-M and get assistance with the process of converting an existing course to an IPE course.

WHAT IS IPE
Interprofessional Education is a growing national movement which focuses on providing education to multidisciplinary health professionals in a setting which encourages learning with, from and about each other’s professions.
IPE TEACHING AT U-M
By providing learning opportunities to foster integrated, collaborative teams among health professions, the ultimate goal of Interprofessional Education (IPE) is to transform and improve patient care and population health outcomes.
We have prepared a toolkit for U-M faculty to assist in convert existing courses into IPE courses. This toolkit provides tools to address administrative, instructor, and course-related aspects of converting a class to an IPE offering.
